More About Us

Stakeholder Engagement

At PRIM-Zambia, we consider stakeholders' engagement to be a key aspect of the process. We consider those who are affected by a problem, served by a public program, employed by an organization or provide services to primary actors as key players in each stage of services delivery. For instance, participating stakeholders are involved in the initial identification of the problem to be studied; the design of the research process or methods; the collection, documentation, and analysis of data; and the implementation of new approaches that result from the insights, lessons, and findings that emerge from the research.

To adequately engage stakeholders, we create awareness and improve the knowledge of individuals and communities about the topics and research project. In addition, we build the capacity of local data collectors who facilitate the acceptability and conducting of our research in a culturally fit model. This dialogue with stakeholders makes PRIM-Zambia unique among researchers, with strict adherence to accountability to primary actors and transparency in our actions.
